Loctite® 243 is long recognized as industry's leading medium strength threadlocker. And now, the product capabilities of Loctite® 243 have been enhanced to offer improved high temperature performance and to cure through light oil contaminations, while maintaining a very reliable cure on passive metal surfaces. Replaces Loctite 242 and the current Loctite 243 formulations.

LOCTITE® 263 – HIGH STRENGTH THREADLOCKER

Loctite® 263 offers reliable cure on passive metals, increased oil tolerance and improved high-temperature performance – all in one high-strength formulation. Replaces Loctite® 270 and Loctite® 271 formulations in Asia.

The performance improvements for the formulations have been realized while maintaining the core properties of medium and high strength threadlockers. For example, the current Loctite® Material Specification for Loctite® 243, including appearance, fluorescence, viscosity and compressive shear strength, will remain unchanged for the new Loctite 243 as well. This means that you can continue using Loctite® 243 for your existing medium strength applications with the existing equipment.
